Welcome to Horizon Educational Resources monthly "Default Prevention Loan Counseling Program" which is referred to as “Student Services”.  In order for you to take full advantage of our service, please implement the following procedures as soon as possible.

1) All delinquent notices, claim notices, default notices, or any other loan related reports you may receive from the guarantor / lender / servicer / or direct loan servicer should be mailed to the following address:

2) All student referrals (graduates or withdrawals from 04/01/2005 and forward) should be directed to call our office if they need assistance.

3) One of the most important aspects of our default prevention service is skip-tracing. From time to time, we will fax a list of borrowers for which we need references.  This list should be given high priority, these borrowers are extremely delinquent and have not been located.  Any delay in faxing this report back to our office will cause unnecessary defaults.  The references you have on file should be taken from additional forms received at entrance or exit counseling.  We have access to the references on the loan application electronically via TGSLC.
